Description
The front camera is the camera module on the front of the phone, used for selfies and video calls. This part, compatible with the Pixel 6a, lets you replace a damaged module, for example when the image is blurry, dark or distorted, or when the camera no longer activates.
The part is a third-party manufactured camera, designed to fit the Pixel 6a model. Before you start, switch the phone off completely, place it on a clean, flat surface and prepare small tools suited to the screws and connectors. Work in a well-lit area free of static electricity: touch an earthed metal surface before handling the components.
Before closing the phone, disconnect the battery when the instructions require it, then check that the ribbon cable is properly connected. After assembly, switch the device back on and test the front camera, for both photos and video, as well as focus and brightness.
