Description
The front camera, also called the selfie camera, is the camera module located on the front of the phone. It is used for selfies, video calls and facial recognition authentication. This Original part is designed for the Google Pixel 7 and replaces a damaged module.
A faulty front camera may show up as a blurred, black, frozen or distorted image, or as the front camera not responding in apps. This official module fixes these faults when they come from the sensor or its connection. For fitting, switch off the phone, work on a clean surface and use suitable tools. Avoid static electricity, for example by touching an earthed metal surface before handling components. Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables, and never bend the flexible cables.
After replacement, switch the device back on and test the camera in the photo app, then during a video call. Also check the sealing of the module before closing the screen. If the battery is swollen, do not use it and do not puncture it.
