Description
The front camera is the camera module located on the front of your Pixel 7 Pro. It is used for selfies, video calls and video conferencing. This Original manufacturer part, or official Service Pack part, allows you to replace a damaged or faulty module.
The most common faults are a blurred or black image, a camera that no longer activates, an error message in the camera app or spots on photos. A cracked screen or a knock to the front can also be the cause. Before you start, switch the phone off completely, work on a clean, flat surface, and use an anti-static tool to avoid damaging the components.
After fitting, check that the camera works in the camera app, for both photos and video, and test the autofocus and brightness. Always disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables. If the battery is swollen, stop using it.
