Description
The front camera is the module that captures your selfies and video calls. This compatible part is designed for the Google Pixel 8a. It allows you to replace the current component when it is damaged, no longer focuses, or displays a blurry, black or distorted image. The replacement follows a simple procedure: once the affected screen and ribbon cable have been identified, disconnect the module, remove it, then fit the new one.
Before you start, switch off the phone and disconnect the battery if your skill level allows. Work on a clean surface, with suitable tools and protection against static electricity. Take the time to identify each connector carefully, and avoid excessive heat when lifting the screen or ribbon cable. Never puncture or bend the lithium battery.
Once assembly is complete, switch the phone back on and test the camera before closing the device completely. Check sharpness, brightness and the operation of the other sensors. If the battery was disconnected, also observe its behaviour during the first few charges.
