Description
The front camera is the camera module on the screen side, used for selfies and video calls. This compatible part replaces the faulty module in your Google Pixel 9. It restores a sharp image during video calls and front-facing photos, when the camera is blurry, black, frozen or no longer detected by the phone.
Before fitting, switch off the device and disconnect the battery if your skill level allows, to avoid any short circuit. Work on a clean, flat surface and protect yourself from static electricity by avoiding touching the gold contacts of the ribbon cable. Precision tools and a suitable screen opener make removal easier without damaging the clips.
After reassembly, check operation before fully closing the phone: test the front camera app, video calls and brightness. If the image remains faulty, recheck that the ribbon cable is correctly connected. Never use a swollen battery, do not puncture it and do not bend it.
