Description
The front camera is the small camera module located at the front of your phone, usually near the screen. It is used for selfies, video calls and face recognition to unlock the device. When it stops working, the image may be blurred, black or frozen, or the face unlock feature may stop responding.
This compatible front camera is intended for the Pixel 9 Pro. It is a part made by a third party, designed to fit this model. Before you start, switch the phone off completely, disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it and work on a clean, dry surface. Avoid touching the connector contacts with your fingers and discharge static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface.
Once the fitting is complete, switch the device back on and check the image, any flash, autofocus and face unlock. If the battery was disconnected, let the phone charge and carry out a few full charge cycles before heavy use. Do not puncture or bend the battery, and never use a device whose battery is swollen.
