Description
The front camera is the module that captures the images for your selfies and video calls. It sits at the top of the screen. When it stops working, the image may be blurred, black, frozen, or the front camera no longer appears in apps. This compatible part is designed to replace the faulty module in the Pixel 9 Pro XL and restore these functions.
Before you start, switch the smartphone off completely and disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it. Work in a clean, well-lit area, with an anti-static mat if possible, to avoid electrostatic discharge that can damage components. Use suitable tools and avoid forcing the delicate connectors. Once fitting is finished, switch the device back on and test the camera before closing the casing completely.
After replacement, check that the camera works in the photo app and in a video conferencing app. Also check sharpness, brightness and the absence of abnormal noise. If the current part shows signs of impact or moisture, clean the area thoroughly before fitting. Keep your old part until you have confirmed that the device is stable.

- Switch off the device and work on a clean, anti-static surface
- Never force the ribbon cable connectors, they are very fragile
- Test the camera before closing the phone casing
- Check sharpness and brightness in the camera app and on video calls
- If the battery is swollen, stop using the device
