Description
The front camera is the small camera module on the front of your Pixel 9a, used for selfies, video calls and face recognition unlocking. This original manufacturer part, or official "Service Pack" part, lets you replace a damaged or faulty module.
It fixes the most common faults: blurred or black image, a module no longer detected by camera apps, green lines or spots on photos, or no response during video calls. Picture quality and performance are identical to those of a new module.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and work in a clean, well-lit place free of static electricity. Disconnect the battery before working on the ribbon cables and avoid excessive heat, including when lifting parts. After fitting, check the camera in the camera app and during a video call, then check focus and brightness. Never puncture or bend the lithium battery.
