Description
The front camera is the small camera module on the front, above the screen, used for selfies and video calls. This compatible part is designed to replace the front camera of the Poco C71 when it is blurry, black, hazy or no longer launches in apps.
Replacing it restores a sharp image during video calls and front-facing photos. Before you start, switch the phone off, remove the case and work on a clean, flat surface. Disconnect the battery before handling any ribbon cables, and avoid touching the gold contacts with your fingers to limit the risk of static electricity. Keep heat moderate during disassembly.
After fitting, check that the camera is recognised, test the preview and taking a photo, then make sure the proximity sensor and the screen respond correctly. If the current part has a swollen battery, do not use the phone and never puncture or bend a lithium battery.
Tips
- Switch off the phone and disconnect the battery before disassembling
- Handle the ribbon cables carefully so they do not bend
- Avoid touching the gold contacts to limit static electricity
- Check the preview and photo capture before closing the phone
- Never puncture or bend a swollen or worn battery
