Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of the screen, used for selfies and video calls. This part, compatible with the Poco C81 Pro, lets you replace a faulty or damaged front camera.
A front camera that no longer switches on, shows a blurred or black image, or displays coloured bands often indicates a module fault. This replacement restores a sharp image for your selfies and video calls, without replacing the whole phone.
Before you start, switch off the device and disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it. Avoid bending the ribbon cable and do not touch the contacts with your fingers. After fitting, check the focus and brightness in the camera app before fully closing the phone.
Tips
- Switch off the phone before any repair work.
- Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables.
- Handle the ribbon cable carefully, without bending it.
- Check the image in the camera app before closing the phone.
- Never puncture or bend a lithium battery.
Fitting
Fitting guide: work with the device switched off, disconnect the battery before touching any flex cable, keep the screws in order and test the part before closing up. A question before ordering? Write to us.
