Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of the screen, used for selfies and video calls. This compatible part replaces the faulty module of the Poco F3 when it no longer focuses, shows a blurred, black or distorted image, or no longer launches in apps.
Before you start, switch off the phone and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean, flat surface, with a suitable tool to open the screen without forcing it. Avoid any finger contact with the ribbon cable and the lens, and discharge static electricity by touching a metal surface before handling the components. Do not drill, bend or expose the battery to excessive heat.
After fitting, switch the device back on and test the camera before fully closing the casing: open the camera app, switch to selfie mode and start a video call. Also check that the proximity sensor and screen brightness work correctly. If a swollen battery is present, do not use it.
