Description
The front camera, also called the selfie camera, is the small camera module at the top of the Poco F6 screen. It is used for selfies, video calls and face unlock when this feature is enabled. This compatible part lets you replace the faulty module when the image is blurred, black, distorted or missing, or when the camera no longer opens in apps.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface, with a suitable tool to open the screen without forcing it. Handle the ribbon cable carefully and discharge static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface. Never bend the ribbon cable and do not puncture the lithium battery.
Once the fitting is complete, check that the camera is detected and test photo capture, video and face unlock. If the original part showed signs of moisture, also check the water resistance of the assembly before closing the device completely.
