Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of the screen, used for selfies, video calls and unlocking the phone. This compatible part is designed for the Poco M3. It lets you replace the current part when the image is blurry, dark, frozen or missing.
Before you start, switch off the phone completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface, with a suitable screwdriver and a flat tool to carefully separate the components. Avoid any contact with the connectors, and discharge static electricity by touching an earthed metal object. Never force the ribbon cables.
Once reassembly is complete, switch the phone back on and open the camera app to test the front camera in several lighting conditions. Also check the proximity sensor and the screen lighting near the camera.
