Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of the screen, used for selfies and video calls. This compatible part is designed for the Poco M5s. It lets you replace the current part when the image is blurred, black, frozen or missing when opening the camera app or a video conference.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and use tools suited to avoid scratching the screen. Handle the ribbon cable carefully, without bending it or forcing the connectors. Never puncture or bend a lithium battery, and stop using a device whose battery is swollen.
Once the fitting is complete, switch the phone back on and test the camera before fully closing the casing. Check the image, the focus, both video call modes and the proper operation of the proximity sensor near the screen. If the compatible part does not respond as expected, recheck the ribbon cable connection.
