Description
The front camera is the small module that captures your selfies and video calls. This compatible part is designed to replace the front camera of the Poco M8 5G when it is faulty: blurry image, dark area, black screen on the selfie side, or a camera app that no longer recognises the module.
The part is fitted on the front of the phone, generally near the top of the screen. For a successful replacement, work on a clean, flat surface with a suitable tool to open the device. Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables, and avoid any pressure on the display. Check that the connectors are firmly clicked in and that no dust has got under the module.
After fitting, switch on the phone and test the camera before closing the device completely. Open the camera app, switch to selfie mode and check sharpness, brightness and videos. If the image remains abnormal, reconnect the ribbon cable and check again. As a precaution, avoid forcing the frame and keep away from any excessive heat source during the repair.
