Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of the screen, used for selfies and video calls. This compatible part for the Poco X5 lets you replace the current component when it is cracked, blurred, black or no longer activates. Before you start, switch off the phone and disconnect the battery if your model allows it, then work on a clean, flat surface so nothing gets lost.
Fitting requires patience. Remove the screen using suction cups and a plastic tool, taking care not to pull on the ribbon cables. Disconnect the camera ribbon, replace the module, then reconnect the assembly carefully. Avoid excessive heat and static electricity discharges, which can damage electronic components.
After reassembly, switch on the device and test the camera before closing everything up. Check sharpness, brightness and the operation of the screen flash if your model has one. If the battery was disconnected, carry out a few full charge cycles to stabilise the system. Never puncture or bend a lithium battery, and stop using a swollen battery.
