Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of the screen, used for selfies and video calls. This part, compatible with the Poco X6, lets you replace a faulty module. The faults it typically fixes are a blurred, black, distorted or missing image in camera apps and video calls.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery before touching any ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface with a suitable opening tool, and avoid excessive heat so the adhesives are not damaged. Static electricity can damage components: touch an earthed metal surface before handling the part.
Once fitting is complete, check the camera before closing the device: test the front and rear cameras, the flash if needed, and video calls. If the battery was disconnected, reconnect it and let the phone go through a few full charge cycles for stable behaviour.
