Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of the screen, used for selfies, video calls and face unlock. This part is compatible with the Poco X8 Pro Max and lets you replace a module that is damaged, cracked or no longer responding.
The most common faults are a blurry or black image, abnormal colours, faulty focus or a camera that no longer appears in apps. Before you start, switch the phone off completely, disconnect the battery if your model allows it, and work on a clean surface to avoid dust and static electricity.
After fitting, check the camera in several apps, test the focus and face unlock, then make sure the screen sits firmly in place. Handle the ribbon cables with care and never bend the lithium battery.
