Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of the screen, used for selfies and video calls. This part, compatible with the Priv model, replaces the current module when the image is blurry, dark, frozen or when the camera no longer activates at all. It restores correct picture quality for photos and video conferences, without changing the rest of the phone.
Before starting, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it, to avoid any short circuit. Work on a clean surface, protected from static electricity, and use suitable tools so you do not scratch the screen or bend the frame. Be careful with the thin ribbon cables, which tear easily, and never force a connector.
Once the fitting is complete, switch the device back on and test the camera before closing the casing completely. Check sharpness, brightness and correct focus operation, then make sure the proximity sensor and the ringer are not affected. If the image remains abnormal, recheck the connections before concluding there is a fault.

- Handle the ribbon cables carefully, they are fragile
- Avoid static electricity: work on an anti-static surface

- Never puncture or bend the lithium battery
