Description
The front camera is the small module at the top of the screen that lets you take selfies and make video calls. This compatible part is designed for the Q6 (2017). It is used to replace the current part when the image is blurry, black, frozen, or when the camera no longer starts in apps.
Before you begin, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface, with a suitable screwdriver and a plastic tool to open the casing without scratching the front. Avoid touching the gold contacts and protect the components from static electricity by working away from any source of charge. Moderate heat is enough to soften the adhesive, but never force anything.
Once the assembly is finished, reconnect the battery, switch the device back on and test the camera before fully closing the casing. Check sharpness, brightness and, if present, autofocus operation. If a battery is swollen, do not use it and never puncture or bend it.
