Description
This compatible front camera replaces the selfie module of your Q6 Plus (2017). It handles front-facing photos, video calls and video conferences. If your front camera is blurry, black, frozen or no longer shows up in apps, this module may be the cause.
Before fitting, switch off the phone and disconnect the battery before touching any ribbon cables. Work on a clean, flat surface with a suitable screwdriver and non-metallic tweezers. Protect the components from static electricity by avoiding touching the connectors with bare hands.
After reassembly, check the focus, brightness and proper operation of the camera before fully closing the phone. If the module is not seated correctly, remove it and start again. Do not bend the ribbon cable and never force a connector.
Tips
- Disconnect the battery before touching the ribbon cables
- Work on a clean surface, using non-metallic tweezers
- Protect the connectors from static electricity
- Test the camera before fully closing the phone
