Description
This compatible front camera replaces the selfie module of your Realme 12 Pro Plus. It is used to take photos and videos facing the screen, and to use facial recognition to unlock the phone. If your selfie is blurry, dark, frozen or missing, the current part may be the cause and this replacement can solve the problem.
Before you start, switch off the smartphone completely and disconnect it. Work on a clean, flat surface, with a tool suited to opening the phone without forcing it. Discharge static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and never try to puncture or bend the lithium battery. If it is swollen, stop using it.
Once assembly is complete, check that the camera works properly before fully closing the device: test photo capture, video and facial recognition. If the battery was disconnected, carry out a few full charge cycles to let it readjust.
