Description
The front camera is the camera module on the front of your smartphone, used for selfies and video calls. This part, compatible with the Realme 14 Pro Plus, lets you replace a faulty or damaged module.
A front camera that no longer switches on, shows a blurred, black or distorted image, or leaves streaks and spots on photos may need replacing. This type of fault often appears after a fall or moisture ingress. Before you start, switch the device off completely and disconnect the battery where the instructions allow. Work on a clean, flat surface and use an anti-static wrist strap or regularly touch an earthed metal surface to limit electrostatic discharge.
After fitting, switch the phone back on and test the front camera with the photo app, checking focus, brightness and sharpness. Also check the seal and that the module is firmly fixed. If the current part shows a crack, do not force the flexible connectors and make sure each ribbon cable is correctly positioned.
