Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of the screen, used for selfies and video calls. This compatible part is designed for the Realme 8i. If your phone's front camera is blurry, black, frozen or no longer switches on, replacing it can restore normal use of the device.
Before you start, switch off the phone and disconnect the battery where the procedure allows. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, to protect the components from static electricity. Use suitable tools, do not force anything, and take the time to identify each connector and each screw before removing them.
Once the camera is fitted, reconnect the battery and check the function with the camera app, testing both lenses. Also check that the seal is correctly positioned and that there is no dust under the glass. If in doubt, stop and start the procedure again from the beginning.
