Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of the screen, used for selfies and video calls. This part, compatible with the Realme C21, lets you replace a faulty, blurry, black or no longer working front camera. The most common faults are a pixelated image, distorted colours, a camera that won't start, or a dark spot on photos.
Before dismantling, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it. Work on a clean surface and use suitable tools to open the device without forcing it. Handle the ribbon cable carefully and avoid static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface before touching any components. Do not puncture or bend the lithium battery, and never use a device whose battery is swollen.
After fitting, check that the camera is recognised, test front photos and videos, and check the screen brightness. Remember to close the housing without pinching the cables.
