Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of the screen, used for selfies and video calls. This compatible part is designed for the Realme C30. It replaces the current part when the image is blurred, black, frozen or missing when using the front camera.
Before you start, switch the smartphone off completely and disconnect the battery if the model allows it. Work on a clean surface, with a tool suited to opening and protecting the screen. To avoid electrostatic discharge, regularly touch an earthed metal surface. Avoid excessive heat when removing glued components.
Once the fitting is complete, check that the camera app opens, that the front camera works, that the image is sharp and that the proximity sensor functions correctly. If the battery was disconnected, reconnect it carefully, then check that all connectors are firmly seated before closing the device.
Tips
- Switch off the device and disconnect the battery before any work
- Never puncture or bend the lithium battery
- Avoid static electricity by earthing yourself
- Check the camera works before closing the device
- Do not use a device whose battery is swollen
