Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of the screen, used for selfies and video calls. This compatible part is designed for the Realme C61. It lets you replace a damaged front camera, which may show a blurry, black, distorted or missing image when using the front-facing camera.
Before you begin, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean, flat surface, with an antistatic mat if possible, to avoid electrostatic discharge that could damage the components. To open the phone, use suitable plastic tools and never force it. Do not puncture, bend or apply pressure to the lithium battery.
After fitting, reconnect the battery, switch on the device and test the camera before fully closing the casing. Check the focus, brightness and correct operation of video calls. If the battery appears swollen, do not use it and do not attempt to repair it.
Tips
- Switch off the phone and disconnect the battery before any work
- Work with an antistatic mat to protect the components
- Never puncture or bend the lithium battery
- Test the camera before closing the casing
- A swollen battery must no longer be used
