Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of the screen, used for selfies and video calls. This compatible part is designed for the Realme C71 and allows you to replace a faulty module, for example if the image is blurry, dark, frozen or missing during a video call.
Before replacing it, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean, flat surface with suitable tools. Avoid fingerprints on the lens and protect your components against static electricity by regularly touching an earthed metal surface.
After fitting, switch the device back on and test the camera before fully closing the casing: open the camera app, take a selfie and start a video call. Also check that the proximity sensor and the screen work properly. If the previous part was cracked, carefully clean the holder before installing the new camera.
Tips
- Switch off the phone and disconnect the battery before any work
- Protect the components against static electricity
- Do not touch the lens with your fingers during fitting
- Test the camera before fully closing the casing
- Never puncture or bend the lithium battery
