Description
The front camera is the camera module located on the front of your phone. It is used for selfies, video calls and unlocking the phone with facial recognition, if this is enabled. This part, compatible with the Realme P3 5G, lets you replace a faulty module.
The most common faults are a blurred, dark or distorted image, coloured bands on the screen, a camera that no longer activates, or an error message in the camera app. A cracked case or screen can also damage the module. Before you start, switch the device off completely, work on a clean surface and use suitable tools. Disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables, and avoid static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface. Do not puncture or bend the battery, and stop using the phone if the battery is swollen.
After fitting, switch the device back on and test the camera before closing the casing: open the camera app, test focus, brightness and colour display, then check facial recognition if you use it. A compatible part may show slight differences in rendering compared with the original part, so check the result before refitting the case.
