Description
The front camera is the small camera module on the front of the tablet, used for video calls, selfies and video conferences. This Compatible replacement part for the Realme Pad Mini lets you replace the module of the current part when it no longer works properly, for example if the image is black, blurred or missing in apps.
Before fitting, switch off the tablet and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. The camera is connected to the board by a very thin ribbon cable: remove it carefully, without pulling on the cable, and use a plastic tool to release the connectors. Check that the new part is correctly oriented before fixing it. Heat should remain moderate when desoldering or lifting the adhesive.
Once the part is installed, switch the tablet back on and open the camera app to check the front-facing image. Also test the focus and brightness. As a precaution, handle the components with clean hands and protect the board from static electricity, using an anti-static wrist strap if you have one.
