Description
The front camera, also called the selfie camera, is the module that captures your image for video calls, selfies and face recognition unlock. This compatible part is designed for the Redmi 11 Prime. It replaces a damaged module, for example when the image is blurry, black, distorted or missing.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and discharge static electricity by touching a metal surface. Take photos of each step to remember the orientation of the ribbon cables and screws, and handle the connectors gently.
After fitting, switch the device back on and test the camera before closing the casing completely. Check focus, colour and video capture, as well as face recognition if you use it. If the battery was removed, let the phone go through a few full charging cycles for stable operation.
