Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of the screen, used for selfies and video calls. This compatible part is designed for the Redmi 12C and lets you replace the front camera when it no longer works properly: black or blurry image, an empty camera app screen, or a module damaged after a fall.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean, flat surface with suitable tools, and avoid any contact with electronic components. To reduce the risk of static electricity, touch a grounded metal surface regularly.
After fitting, switch the phone back on and test the camera before fully closing the device: open the camera app, switch to selfie mode and check the sharpness and brightness of the image. Also check the microphone and the other sensors nearby. If the battery is swollen, do not use it.
