Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of the screen, used for selfies and video calls. This compatible part is designed to replace the front camera of the Redmi 13 when it is faulty: blurry, black or distorted image, damaged screen area around the lens, or a camera that no longer opens in apps.
Before you start, switch the smartphone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and use suitable precision tools to open the device without forcing it. Handle the ribbon cable with care, without bending or pulling it, and note the position of the screws so they are not mixed up.
Once the assembly is complete, switch the phone back on and test the camera before fully closing the casing: take a few photos and start a video call. Also check that the proximity sensor and screen brightness work correctly.
