Description
The front camera is the small camera module on the front of the phone. It is used for selfies and video calls. This compatible part is designed for the Redmi 13C and replaces a faulty module when the image is blurred, black, distorted or missing in the camera or in video conferencing apps.
Before starting, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if the model allows it. Never puncture the lithium battery and do not bend it. If it is swollen, stop using it. Work on a clean surface at a moderate temperature, and protect yourself from static electricity by touching a metal surface before handling the components.
After fitting, check the front camera in the camera app and in a video call app. Check sharpness, brightness and colours. Only close the phone once the test is conclusive. If the image remains abnormal, check the orientation and correct connection of the ribbon cable before drawing any conclusion.
