Description
The front camera, also called the selfie camera, is the module that captures your image for video calls, selfies and facial recognition unlocking. This compatible part is designed for the Redmi 15 5G. It replaces a faulty module and restores a sharp image if the camera is blurry, black, frozen or no longer switches on.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it. Work on a clean, flat surface with suitable tools to open the device without forcing it. Handle the ribbon cable with care, as it tears easily. Also protect yourself from static electricity by touching a metal surface before handling the parts.
Once fitting is complete, check the camera before fully closing the casing: open the camera app and test the front camera and facial unlock. If the battery was disconnected, carry out a few full charge cycles so the device returns to stable behaviour. Never puncture or bend a lithium battery, and do not use a phone whose battery is swollen.
