Description
The front camera is the small module that lets you take selfies and make video calls. This part, compatible with the Redmi 9A, replaces the current one when it no longer works: blurry, black or frozen image, or no image at all in photo and video apps.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and take care not to touch the gold contacts. Open the phone with suitable tools and never force the ribbon cables, which are fragile.
Once the fitting is finished, reconnect the battery and check the camera before closing the casing for good. Test the front and rear cameras, focus, brightness and video calls. If the image still looks abnormal, recheck the connections.
