Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of the screen, used for selfies and video calls. This compatible part for the Redmi A1 lets you replace the front camera when it no longer works, shows a blurred, black or distorted image, or is no longer detected by the device.
Before you begin, switch the smartphone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean, flat surface, using a plastic opening tool to avoid scratching the front panel. Avoid bending the ribbon cables and take care of static electricity when handling the component.
After fitting, switch the device back on and open the camera app to check the selfie mode, then start a test video call. Also check the sharpness and brightness of the image. If the battery was removed, a few full charge cycles will then restore normal use.
