Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of the screen, used for selfies and video calls. This compatible part is designed for the Redmi A2 and lets you replace the current part when it no longer works properly. It fixes common faults: blurry or black image, camera missing from apps, or an error message when opening the front camera.
Before you start, switch the smartphone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface and use a plastic opening tool to avoid scratching the screen. Protect yourself from static electricity by touching an earthed metal surface before handling the components.
Once fitting is complete, switch the device back on and check the camera before fully closing the casing. Test the image in the camera app and during a video call. If the battery of your device was disconnected, let it charge gradually.
