Description
The front camera is the small camera module located at the top of the screen, used for selfies and video calls. This part, compatible with the Redmi A3, lets you replace the current part when the image is blurry, black, frozen or missing.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and avoid any contact with electronic components. Use suction tools and plastic spudgers to open the screen without forcing it, and note the position of the screws.
After fitting, check the focus, brightness and image quality in the camera app, then test the video call. Put the screen back carefully, without bending the ribbon cables, and check that the proximity sensor and the front face work correctly before fully closing the device.
