Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of the screen, used for selfies and video calls. This compatible part for the Redmi A7 Pro lets you replace the module of the current part when it no longer works properly. The most common faults are a black, blurred or frozen image, abnormal colours, or a camera error message in the camera app.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it. Work on a clean, flat surface, with an antistatic mat if possible, to protect components sensitive to static electricity. Gently warm the edges of the screen with a hair dryer on a moderate heat setting to loosen the adhesive, and never overheat it. Handle the ribbon cables carefully and do not bend them.
After fitting, switch the device back on and test the camera before closing the casing completely. Check focus, brightness and sharpness in the camera app, as well as the module's recognition in the settings. If a problem persists, check that the ribbon cable is properly connected before drawing conclusions.
