Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of the screen, used for selfies and video calls. This compatible part replaces the existing module when it is damaged, blurry, black or no longer responds. It is designed for the Redmi Note 10 5G and fits in place of the current part.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface, using a plastic opening tool so you do not scratch the chassis. Earth yourself or touch an earthed metal surface to limit static electricity, which can damage the sensor. Handle the ribbon cable carefully, without bending or pulling it.
Once the module is fitted and the phone is switched back on, test the front camera in the camera app: check sharpness, focus, brightness and the screen rotation function. Also check that the proximity sensor next to the module makes good contact. If the image remains abnormal, refit the part and check the ribbon cable connection.
