Description
The front camera, also called the selfie camera, is used to take photos of yourself and to make video calls. This compatible part for the Redmi Note 10 replaces the camera module at the top of the screen. It is useful when selfies are blurry or dark, when an image appears frozen or black, or when the camera app no longer detects the camera.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface and protect yourself from static electricity by avoiding synthetic mats. Handle the ribbon cables with care, as they tear easily. If the battery is swollen, stop using it and do not puncture or bend it.
Once the fitting is complete, switch the device back on and test the camera before closing the casing. Check sharpness, brightness and operation in several apps, for example the camera app and video conferencing. If the image still looks abnormal, recheck the ribbon cable connection.
