Description
The front camera is the module that captures the image of your face for video calls, selfies and unlocking. Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it. Work on a clean, flat surface, with an antistatic mat if possible, to avoid discharging the components. Use suitable tools so as not to damage the delicate ribbon cables or connectors. Never bend the ribbon cable and do not force any clip.
Once fitting is complete, switch the device back on and test the camera before fully closing the casing. Check focus, brightness and operation in several apps. If the battery was disconnected or you notice unusual behaviour, let the phone complete a few full charge cycles.
