Description
The front camera is the small module that captures your image during video calls, selfies and facial recognition. This compatible part is designed for the Redmi Note 10S. It lets you replace a damaged module, for example blurry images, a black camera screen or a camera that no longer opens.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if the procedure requires it. Work on a clean surface, with tools suited to small screws, and avoid touching the gold contacts with your fingers. An electrostatic discharge can be enough to damage a component, so touch an earthed metal surface before handling the part. Never bend the ribbon cable and do not force the connectors.
After fitting, check that the camera works in the photo and video app, both on the front and the rear. Also check focus and brightness, then test a video call. If the battery was disconnected, carry out a few full charging cycles before heavy use.
