Description
The front camera is the camera module on the front of the phone. It is used for selfies, video calls and video conferences. This part, compatible with the Redmi Note 11E, lets you replace a damaged module, for example when the image is blurred, black or spotted, or when the camera is no longer detected by the device.
Before you start, switch off the phone and disconnect the battery before handling the ribbon cables. Work on a clean surface, ideally with an anti-static mat, to limit electrostatic discharge. Never force the connectors and keep your tools away from the battery.
After fitting, test the camera in the camera app and during a video call before closing the chassis. If the battery is swollen, stop using it. Never puncture a lithium battery or bend it.
Tips
- Switch off the phone and disconnect the battery before any work
- Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible
- Handle the ribbon cables carefully and never force the connectors
- Test the camera before closing the phone
- Swollen battery: stop using the device
