Description
The front camera, also called the selfie camera, is the small module used for selfies and video calls. This compatible part is designed for the Redmi Note 12. It replaces a faulty front camera, for example when the image in the camera app or during a video call is blurry, black, distorted or missing.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean, static-free surface, with an anti-static mat if possible. Handle the ribbon cable and the module carefully so you do not bend or damage them. Keep the small screws and note the exact position of each connector before detaching it.
Once the fitting is finished, switch the device back on and test the camera before closing the casing completely. Check sharpness, brightness and operation in several apps. If the current battery is swollen, stop using it and do not puncture it.
