Description
This front camera is a replacement module compatible with the Redmi Note 12 Pro. It is used for selfies and video calls. It helps fix the most common faults: blurred or black image, distorted photos, camera missing from the app or error messages when opening the front camera.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat or by discharging static electricity by touching an earthed metal object. Use a suitable tool to open the device without forcing it, and keep the screws in a small container so you don't lose them.
After fitting, check the camera works before closing the casing completely. Test photos and videos, front and rear, as well as the flash and microphone if needed. If the battery is swollen, do not use it and do not puncture or bend it. Keep handling at a moderate temperature.
