Description
This compatible front camera replaces the selfie module of the Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus. It is used for taking front-facing photos, making video calls and using facial recognition. If your front camera is blurry, black, no longer activates or shows an error, this module is often the cause.
Before you begin, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if the repair guide allows it. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and avoid touching the contacts of the ribbon cable. Use a plastic tool to release the connector without forcing it. The heat applied should stay moderate and never be excessive during opening.
After fitting, switch the device back on and test the front camera in several situations: photo, video and call. Also check the focus and brightness. Then reassemble the phone, making sure the seal and screws are correctly positioned.
