Description
The front camera, also called the selfie camera, is the module that captures your image for selfies and video calls. This part, compatible with the Redmi Note 12 Turbo, lets you replace the module of the current part when it no longer works properly. The most common faults are a blurred or black image, unusual colours, a camera missing from the camera app, or stripes appearing on the screen during calls.
Before you start, switch the phone off completely and disconnect the battery if your model allows it. Work on a clean surface, in a place free of static electricity, and use a suitable tool to open the casing without forcing it. Handle the ribbon cable with care, as it tears easily.
Once fitting is complete, switch the device back on and test the camera before closing the casing fully. Check the image in the camera app and during a test video call. If the battery is swollen or damaged, do not use it and never puncture or bend it.
