Description
The front camera is the small camera module at the top of the screen, used for selfies and video calls. This compatible front camera is designed to replace the current part of the Redmi Note 14 when it no longer works properly. It suits the most common faults: blurred or black image, camera preview that does not display, or no camera in apps.
Before fitting, switch off the phone and disconnect the battery if the disassembly guide indicates it. Work on a clean surface, with an anti-static mat if possible, and use non-metal tools to open the device. Be careful with the fragile ribbon cables, which tear easily. Never puncture, bend or press a lithium battery; if it is swollen, stop using it.
Once the part is installed, switch the phone back on and test the camera before fully closing the device. Check focus, brightness and operation in a photo app as well as during a video call. If the image remains abnormal, re-check the connectors before reaching a conclusion.
